Accessibility
The European hospitality industry highly values the importance of accessible tourism and the need for people with special needs.
The sector is well in the process across Europe of more and more adapting its offer to persons with specific needs. National regulations and further industry activities in cooperation with disability organisations are allowing for a smooth adaptation of hospitality services.
HOTREC itself also has been playing its share, e.g. through its participation to the Erasmus+ project of APPTOURYOU, developing training targeted specifically to the needs of small enterprises.
HOTREC also offers, like for many other areas, a platform for members to exchange best practices in the field of accessibility.
